NELSON MANDELA DAY: BOBUANTSWA PRIMARY SCHOOL and RAMOKOKA PRIMARY SCHOOL – JULY 2022

As Kabelano Training Solutions we  embrace our role in social responsibility, we are reminded that even small contributions can lead to transformative results. Mandela Day (18 July 2022) provided an opportunity for us not just to honor a global icon, but to take real, actionable steps towards a more inclusive, fair, and empowered world.

We donated over 50 school shoes to Bobuantswa Primary School and over 100 school shoes to Ramokoka Primary School. We strongly believe that by providing children with the necessary footwear, we are helping to remove barriers to education and creating an environment where learners can thrive.

We aim to have more of these outreach programs to extend beyond mere gestures and create lasting, positive changes in communities.

MINE COMMUNITY DEVELOMPENT PROGRAMME

Community development programs have always been a key tool for local empowerment, especially in areas that face economic challenges or limited access to traditional education.
Our 3 months program in collaboration with the MQA (Mining Qualifications Authority)‘s aim was to equip community members, especially those in underserved or rural areas like Ramokoka with the skills needed to train, interact with, and manage yellow plant machines such as Excavator, Dozer, Grader, TLB, Water carts etc. Stipends were provided for the duration of the programme.
The objective of the initiative was also to create new employment opportunities for the community of Ramokoka and to ensure that local populations are not left behind as industries move toward smart construction. By providing yellow machine training, our programmes help individuals understand how these systems work, how to operate them, and how to troubleshoot or improve them. This provides a competitive edge in the job market, where technical skills are increasingly in demand South African economy. With a dynamic approach to training, we focus on innovative solutions that keep pace with evolving industry demands

MQA STUDENTS’ PRESENTATIONS POST WIL (WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING

In today’s competitive job market, students need more than just academic knowledge to stand out. Work Integrated Learning (WIL) provides an invaluable opportunity to bridge the gap between theory and practice, equipping students with the skills and experience necessary for a successful career.

Kabelano Training Solutions hosted a testimonial presentations day to conclude the programme. During presentations, our former MQA students highlighted that the MQA WIL program was a game changer for their careers. Not only did they gain hands-on experience, but also learned how to apply theoretical concepts from their studies in real-world scenarios. The teams they worked with mentored them throughout the process, which boosted their confidence and helped them  develop key industry skills that they couldn’t have learned in the classroom.
